Hoodlum is a robo-themed rouguelike made over the course of a semester for a university assignment.

This is the first game I've made entirely by myself, and I created all of the art, level design, programming.

Creating Hoodlum gave me the chance to develop lots of new skills, such as pixel art and animation, sound design, game development with Unity2d and C#, and creating a trailer for the game. These new skills have proved really useful when I've gone on to other projects, both solo and as part of a team, and have enabled me to have a base understanding of all aspects of making a game.

I'm especially proud of my big boss; with three different attack modes to cycle through and animations to match, it took a lot of hours to complete but I think it gives the game a really satisfying conclusion.
